Become a New Providence Tennis Courts permit holder and ensure your and your family many hours of tennis play.
For the enjoyment of tennis players of all levels and ages, New Providence’s eight Municipal Tennis Courts, located adjacent to the New Providence Community Pool on Springfield Avenue, are open daily to the public.
Although the courts are open to all, permit holders have priority over non-permit holders for court usage at all times. If the courts are full, non-permit-holders may be asked to forfeit their court so that a permit holder may use it.
Permit holders may also make one-hour reservations from 6-10 p.m. on weekends from May 24 through June 15 and daily from June 21 through Sept. 1. Attendants will be on-site during these times to oversee the courts.
Resident permit fees are as follows: family-$50, single-$35 and student-$15. Non-resident permit fees are: family-$100, single-$70 and student-$30. Permit holders may bring guests for a $5 fee per visit per guest. Registration may be completed online by visiting www.newprov.org/recreation and selecting the Online Registration link.
