The Diamond Hill United Methodist Church warmly welcomes our new Senior Pastor, Rev. David L. Ledford, III and his fiance, Sherrie, to our community and into our church family. With Rev. Dave as our guide we are planning to worship in new and exciting ways and get back out into the community. The Diamond Hill United Methodist Church has a rich history of involvement with the community of Berkeley Heights and we are looking forward to doing so again. With the grace of God, we are confident that we will grow not just in membership, but more importantly in spirit and in service. We invite anyone who seeks to serve God to worship with us. We welcome all with open hearts, open minds and open doors.
We are also excited to announce that this week, July 28th, is Christmas in July at Diamond Hill UMC. Rev. Dave had this innovative idea to remember the promises we made to ourselves, to each other and to God that we will make the joyous and spiritual feelings we experience at Christmas time to last all year. Now that we are slightly more than half way through that promise, let's examine how well we are keeping that promise. Please come worship with us at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28th as we sing Christmas carols and hear the famous birth narrative from the Gospel of Luke. After all, it is never a bad time to remember the moment when God came to Earth in the form of a human to teach us, eat with us, walk with us and sacrifice body and blood for us. We hope to see you there!
Respectfully submitted with the grace and love of God,
Rev. David L. Ledford, III and the members of the Diamond Hill United Methodist Church
