New Traffic Signals Planned at Chimney Rock

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - With construction continuing on Chimney Rock Road, the Bridgewater Township Council approved two resolutions to enter into agreements with the state for new traffic signals in the area.

The first resolution calls for a traffic signal at Route 22 Westbound ramps A and B and Chimney Rock Road.

According to the resolution, the conditions in that area require a signal with pedestrian push buttons.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will install and maintain the traffic signal at no cost to the township.

In addition, the township entered into a similar agreement to install a traffic signal at Route 22 (service road) and Chimney Rock Road.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will also be responsible for installing and maintaining this signal, at no cost to the township.
