Newark Woman Arrested for Alleged Shoplifting in Old Navy

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Newark woman was arrested for allegedly stealing clothing from an Old Navy on Promenade Boulevard around 1:40 p.m. Aug. 8, according to a Bridgewater Township Police report.

Iesha Loyal was arrested for shoplifting after she was allegedly found with clothes from Old Navy, with a total value of $355.

Loyal was processed and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Police also reported several arrests for alcohol charges.

  • Dashon Roberts, 28, of Salvatore Court, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was stopped on Route 22 at about 1:50 a.m. Aug. 15. Roberts was also issues a summons for careless driving. Roberts was processed and released, pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Victorino Rincon-Alvarez, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over on North Bridge Street at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 17. According to a police report, Rincon-Alvarez was also issued summonses for failure to keep right and driving while suspended. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
