Webinars on Alternative Assets, Presentation on Real Estate in IRAs are Part of Account Administrator’s Service to Investors Interested in Self-Directed Retirement Plans

ROSELAND, NJ - Jared Lopez, sales and marketing coordinator for Next Generation Trust Services, will present several webinars and seminars on how to include alternative assets in self-directed retirement plans in April. Next Generation is a third-party administrator of these plans, which allow for a broad array of nontraditional investments not allowed in regular IRAs, such as real estate, precious metals, hedge funds, commodities and much more. Tues., April 15 – Lopez and Roger St. Pierre from First Western Federal Bank will present a free webinar titled, “Non-Recourse Loans for Self-directed IRAs” from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Participants will learn how to take out a mortgage on a property within a self-directed retirement plan through a non-recourse loan. Wed., April 16 – Lopez will explain how to invest in real estate using a self-directed IRA to members and guests of the Mid-Hudson Valley REIA at the group’s monthly meeting from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at Hampton Inn & Suites, 2361 South Road in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The meeting is free for REIA members, $20 non-members.
