TRENTON, NJ -- The New Jersey Department of Transportation last week announced municipal aid grants totaling $1,175,000 would be going toward road improvements in four Somerset County Communities for Fiscal Year 2020.

Bedminster Township will be receiving $300,000 for improvements to Section 1 of Black River Road. Those upgrades will be added to the township's 2020-2021 paving schedule.

Bernardsville also will get $300,000 for work on Washington Corner Road. Far Hills has been granted $325,000 for improvements to Section 2 of Mine Brook Road. And Peapack and Gladstone will receive $250,000 for the resurfacing of both Sheep Hill Drive and Forest View Drive.
