ESSEX COUNTY, NJ - New Jersey Transit announced Thursday that, at the request of the Essex County Office of Emergency Management and Essex County Sheriff Armando B. Fontoura, NJ Transit temporarily suspended all bus service within and through Essex County. Service was restored at 4 p.m. when conditions were considered safe for bus service to safely resume.
