SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – nuSalon a full service salon located at 132 South Plainfield Avenue, kicked off their grand-opening last Sunday afternoon in grand style. The day’s events included live jazz music provided by Mosaic, Rutgers-Newark’s only performing jazz ensemble, homemade food, drinks and plenty of well-wishes.
nuSalon’s owner Ling Sam and South Plainfield Mayor Matthew P. Anesh cut the ribbon along with Council President Alex Barletta and Councilman Derryck White to kick off the day’s festivities. There was standing room only inside nuSalon, while parking at the Walgreen’s Shopping Center was at a premium due to the large turnout. nuSalon had welcomed well over 150 guests during the day.
nuSalon offered a 20% discount to all the new preferred customers that signed up and booked appointments during the event. Ling and the entire staff of nuSalon would like to thank everyone for this show of support as it truly made for a fun filled day.
Ling has been in the business for over 20 years and treats all her clientele like family.
When it came to choosing the location, “I absolutely love this town” said Ling.
“The people are so nice, I already enjoy being part of the community and look forward to helping out in any way I can”.
