WEST MILFORD, N.J. - The Men of Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. hosted their annual fishing trip for their Omega Teens Program to Camp Vacamas in West Milford N.J.

The Omega Teens Program provides an outlet for young minority males to help them reach their fullest potential by focusing on leadership development, community service and recreation.

This fishing trip made it possible for kids from Paterson to travel outside the city and experience fishing.  The trip also provided the Men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. with an opportunity to mentor the youth on leadership and community service.

The Pre-Teens enjoyed a day of fishing, which was followed by a cookout by a campfire.   The group of young men were provided a rod and reel for the day and had professional guidance on safe fishing techniques, while enjoying a hearty lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers.

Lambda Upsilon hosts their Omega Teens Program every Thursday.  For additional information please feel free to contact the Chair. Bro. Gerald Glisson (973) 321-0515.
