Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Participates in 5K Walk to Help Raise Money for Kidney Disease.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The Men of Lambda Upsilon Chapter along with Alpha Delta Phi Chapter (Montclair State University) of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. participated in another social action and health initiative to raise money and awareness for people with Kidney Disease. 

The Men of Lambda Upsilon Chapter participated in the NJ Sharing Network fifth annual Walk. The walk was especially important this year for the members of Lambda Upsilon chapter. Marion “Mook” Crawford of Lambda Upsilon Chapter was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease at the age of 28. 

Twenty-six million American adults have Chronic Kidney Disease and millions of others are at increased risk.  Walking with the Ques” was part of a Corridor 4 Health Initiative and the money raised was distributed between Brother Marion "Mook" Crawford and NJ Sharing Network for further research on Kidney Disease.
