BAYONNE, NJ - A pair of robberies at Lowe’s on Tuesday included the threat of harm to one store employee, a minor injury to another, and the theft of nearly $900 worth of tools.

According to Captain Eric Amato, the first incident took place just before 9:00 a.m. when a store representative confronted two male shoplifters. one of whom grabbed his waistband and threatened to harm the victim with a weapon he was allegedly armed with. Both suspects fled the story with over $500 worth of tools. No weapon was actually shown, Amato said.

Later that day, at approximately 6:11 p.m. a store representative attempted to regain possession of two Dewalt reciprocating saws that a male actor was shoplifting. During the ensuing struggle the victim suffered a minor hand injury and was able to regain possession of one saw. The suspect then fled the store with the other saw valued at $379.00.
