The students in Mrs. Barnard’s class recently read the book One Little Mouse. They participated in various activities throughout the week including reading number words, identifying the main character and setting. Students learned the meaning of many amazing words such as: woodland, nest, vale, hollow, comfortable and shadows.
At the conclusion of the week students searched throughout the room for hidden character pictures and created a large graph with them. Upon completion of the large graph, students recorded data onto their own graph and participated in a lively discussion about the results using comparative language.
