Ongoing Investigation: Mountainside Drive Fire in Randolph Thursday Night

RANDOLPH, NJ- Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Randolph Township Police Chief David M. Stokoe announce the ongoing investigation of a fire which occurred at 7 Mountainside Drive in Randolph, New Jersey. The  fire was reported shortly after 7 p.m. on July 17, 2014.

There were no injuries, however firefighters were evaluated at the scene for heat related injuries. The house is owned by Robert and Sheila Helmke although it has been unoccupied for several years.

Natural and accidental causes of the fire have been ruled out. There are no suspects in connection with this incident.
