Our House Foundation Nearing Goal for Medical Safety Project
New Providence, NJ (September 23, 2020)— Thanks to several generous family and corporate foundations Our House Foundation is nearing the goal to have an AED at every site they provide services including their administrative buildings.
“Keeping our clients, residents, staff and visitors safe is a top priority,” states Cathy Colford, VP of Development for the Our House Foundation, “therefore having an AED at each of our locations was identified as an important need.” Early in 2019 the agency identified the need for 25 AEDs to complete the goal of having one at each location. To date they have secured funding for 21 AEDs thanks to the generosity of the Tyler Foundation, Overlook Foundation, Investors Foundation, the Karma Foundation and the John Taylor Babbitt Foundation. “We will continue to seek out funding to reach the goal, and potentially exceed the needed 25 so that we are prepared when new program sites are developed” says Dawn Knill, Director of Development.
The complete AED package, on average, has a cost of $1,200. If you have interest in helping Our House Foundation reach this goal or would like more information on how you can support their fundraising efforts please contact Dawn Knill at 908-464-8008 ext. 172 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
