On Sept. 4 at 3:15 p.m., Sergeant Chris Slayton was on patrol when he stopped a vehicle on Noe Avenue after a random computer check showed that the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. He confirmed that the registered owner, Calle, was driving the vehicle. A further check also found an active $500 criminal warrant for Calle’s arrest out of the Bloomfield Municipal Court.
Calle was arrested and transported to headquarters, where he satisfied the warrant with cash bail. Calle was issued a summons for driving on a suspended license, with a court date of Sept. 10, 2013.
