SUMMIT, NJ Overlook Medical Center is teaming up with the Summit Free Public Library to hosting a Community Health Fair October 20, from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m., at the Library.
Focusing on wellness, the fair will include ctivities for all ages, including children and teens. Health care professionals from Overlook Medical Center will be providing free blood pressure and glucose screenings as well as staffing information tables and offering information and guidance on diabetes, heart health, stroke, breast health, cancer care, nutrition, exercise, older adult programs for new vitality, and more.
Dr. Christine Johnson, a physician from Overlook Family Medicine will hold an interactive presentation on Breast Health from 2-3 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Dr. Johnson questions in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The program is free and all are welcome to attend.
The Summit Free Public Library is located at 75 Maple Street.
