HANOVER, NJ - The Park Regional ice hockey team dropped to 0-3 on the year following a 4-1 loss to Gill St. Bernard’s on Saturday, Jan. 23. 

Park Regional put in the first goal of the year in the second period, when Ed Karpinski found the back of the net. 

Gill St. Bernard’s controlled a 29-12 shots on goal advantage.

Park Regional goalie AJ Schauder made 25 saves in the loss. 

The team opened the season with a 4-0 loss to Mount Olive/Hopatcong/Hackettstown on Jan. 16. Schauder made 42 saves. 

Park Regional returned to play on Jan. 21, falling to Mountain Lakes-Boonton by a 2-0 score. Schauder finished with 37 saves. 

Park Regional, which finished with a 17-3-4 record last season, returns to action on West Morris Central on Jan. 27 with a 4 p.m. puck drop at Mennen Sports Arena.
