PARKLAND, FL- The latest updates on relevant crime reports from the BSO in Parkland for the week of April 13-19, 2021. 

Theft: GE dishwasher stolen from an unsecured building under construction sometime on Monday 4/12/2021.

Criminal Mischief: Heron Bay: Unknown suspect(s) vandalized the Heron Bay Community traffic LPR camera / street light pole, possibly by pulling down the pole. Another surveillence camera that was pointed at the street light camera pole was also stolen. Previous similar criminal mischiefs have occurred to other traffic cameras in Heron Bay in 2021.

Theft From Building: Brand new dishwasher in the box, Advantium value of $522.00, stored in garage of new construction home. Dishwasher stolen from 03/4/21 to 04/15/21. Construction home kept unlocked, with workers present daily. No security cameras present, all homes on the street are under new construction, with no permanent residences on the street. Report made for insurance reporting purposes

Burglary: Cascata: When homeowner returned home from work in evening, homeowner discovered home had been burglarized with approximately $25,000 in cash, property, and firearms taken. Two unknown male subjects wearing hoodies were seen on surveillance video. Suspects entered house via kitchen window and left via side door. During an area canvass it was discovered that a neighbor noticed the listed suspected vehicle occupied by two males. Homeowner took a photo of the vehicle tags, which were registered out of Homestead.
