PARSIPPANY, NJ – The Parsippany High School football team picked up its first win of the season after defeating Pequannock, 24-14, on the road on Friday, Oct. 16. 

The Redhawks outscored Pequannock 17-7 in the second half, using a 10-0 third quarter to pull away. 

Justice Fitzgerald had nine tackles and one interception for Parsippany, now 1-2 on the season following losses to Madison and Mountain Lakes in the first two weeks of the season.

Adam Amin went 3-for-3 on extra points and connected on a 31-yard field goal for Parsippany. 

Michael Marucci made six tackles and had a sack for Parsippany. 

The Redhawks will look to make it two in a row when they take on Warren Hills at home on Oct. 23.
