WOODLAND PARK, NJ- Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie is seeking individuals interested in interviewing candidates interested in running for elective office.  The Passaic County Democratic Committee (PCDC) is seeking interest from anyone interested in running for state or county offices in the upcoming elections.  The entire New Jersey Legislature is on the ballot this year.  Those interested in running for State Senate or State Assembly within Passaic County legislative districts (Districts 26, 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40) or the county-wide offices of Passaic County Surrogate and County Commissioner, should express interest to the Passaic County Democratic Committee. 

“The Democratic Party wants to meet qualified people who are interested in politics and potentially running as candidates for elective office.  We are encouraging residents interested in running for office to send an expression of interest and resume to the PCDC office,” stated Chairman Currie.   

Those interested in possible candidacy for county elected offices should contact Rita Pascrell in the Passaic County Democratic Committee (PCDC) office at (973) 279-4647 and prepare and send a resume and letter expressing their interest to PCDC by close of business Friday, February 19, 2021. 

In addition, elected representatives who wish to seek re-election need to send a letter expressing their desire to seek support from the PCDC to Chairman John Currie.
