Paterson Man Found in Middle of Fair Street After Being Shot Monday Night

PATERSON, NJ - A 26-year-old city man was in critical but stable condition after being shot several times on Fair Street Monday night. 

According to Lt. Patrick Murray, the victim was shot in the upper torso, the right arm and the right leg shortly before 10 p.m. Police responded to a report of shots being fired and found the victim lying in the middle of the street on Fair Street between Rosa Parks Blvd. and Carroll Street.

Police have recovered ballistic evidence at the scene and are conducting an investigation. The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center.
