Paterson Man Injured in Drive-by Shooting

PATERSON, NJ- A 20-year old Paterson man suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds when he was shot by a passing vehicle in the early hours of Sunday.

According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Cianci Street between Ellison Street and VanHouten Street at approximately 1:38 a.m. and located the victim.

The investigation revealed that the man, who was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment, was shot in the same are where he was located.
