PATERSON, NJ - A 23-year-old Paterson man is believed to have been shot in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard on Thursday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Though they found evidence of a crime scene no victim was located.

A short time later law enforcement officials were advised that a victim had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.
