Paterson Pedestrian Shot in Arm Thursday Morning

PATERSON, NJ - A 25-year-old city man was shot in the arm near the corner of 12th Avenue and East 22nd Street early Thursday morning.

According to Lt. Patrick Murray, the victim was standing near the street corner at around 1 a.m. when an unidentified male dressed in dark clothing ran up to him and fired at him several times, striking him in the upper arm. The victim then went to a Godwin Avenue residence to seek assistance. 

The victim was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center and released. The investigation is continuing.
