PATERSON, N.J. – The Paterson man wanted in connection with two shooting incidents in Paterson’s 2nd Ward has been arrested.
Detectives Francisco Brito and Aramis Alba identified Edwin Centeno as a suspect in the May 29 shootings of two 27-year-old Paterson residents. The 18-year-old Paterson resident faces two counts of attempted murder.
Centeno was apprehended on Wednesday night near Belmont Ave. and N. 9th St. He is currently being held in the Paterson Police cellblock pending an initial hearing and bail.
