Paterson's JFK Girls Basketball Team Trounces Passaic

PATERSON, NJ - The John F. Kennedy High School girls basketball team broke away in the second quarter and went on to a 66-31 victory over Passaic Tuesday at JFK High.

Forward Diamond Singletary finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds for JFK, which opened a 32-16 halftime lead with a 17-4 run in the second quarter.

Tajae Stevenson connected for 22 points and came away with seven thefts of the basketball for the Lady Knights, who extended their lead in the third period with a 21-8 effort. 

De'mean Bond collected 10 points and 10 rebounds and Cha'liya Brown handed out 10 assists for JFK.
