WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Officers from the Woodland Park Police Department are on the scene of a local gun range after patron suffered a gun shot wound.
At approximately 5 p.m. Saturday evening, a 40 year old male patron of the Woodland Park Range range suffered a self-inflicted gun shot would. Police have not stated if the wound was intentional or accidental.
The victim was alive when first responders reported to the scene. He was transported to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson.
Police from Woodland Park and Passaic County Sheriffs' Department are on the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident. The range is currently closed.
