BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Peak Medical is pleased to offer acupuncture to the residents of Berkeley Heights and surrounding towns. The World Health Organization recognizes acupuncture’s effectiveness for over 40 common disorders, including but not limited to: back pain, neck pain, sciatica, tennis elbow, TMJ, knee pain, headache, depression and rheumatoid arthritis. The doctors at Peak Medical use acupuncture to relieve pain and other symptoms, to strengthen the immune system and to balance and integrate functions of the organs.
Peak’s acupuncturist, Noelle Bleski, is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.). She graduated from an accredited school of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has over 3500 hours of training in acupuncture as well as a formal clinical internship in acupuncture.
Acupuncture is a gentle and relaxing therapy. Treatments are usually a half hour in length. The needles are fine and flexible, no bigger than a human hair or piece of thread. Inserted properly by a skilled acupuncturist, the slender needle produces little or no sensation at all. First time patients are amazed at how comfortable they feel during the procedure. Some patients begin to respond favorably after only one or two treatments.
Peak Medical’s goal is to eliminate the pain and limitations that patients suffer from so that they may lead happier, healthier, more productive lives. Their team consists of medical doctors, neurologists, chiropractors, physical therapists and acupuncturists all working together to improve the well-being of their patients.
