Peapack-Gladstone Bank Collects School Supplies to Help Local Needy Students Get Ready for School

Summer is now upon us, but the new school year is not far away on the horizon. For the sixth year, Peapack-Gladstone Bank has begun its Stuff the Bus program, which will continue through August 11, as a way to collect donations of new school supplies that will be contributed to the United Way to distribute through local schools to provide needy children with the tools they need to begin their school year.

The United Way of Northern New Jersey already has launched the organization's 2014 Stuff the Bus school supply drive. The donations of new school supplies, in addition to clothing for use by school nurses, is being accepted at the following Peapack-Gladstone Bank locations: Bernardsville, Bridgewater, Chester, Far Hills, Fellowship Senior Living (residents), Gladstone, Long Valley, Mendham, Morristown, Pluckemin, and Headquarters located at 500 Hills Drive, Bedminster.

Additionally, Peapack-Gladstone Bank has teamed up with the United Way of Hunterdon CountyTools 4 School program. Participating branches include Califon, Clinton, Oldwick and Whitehouse. Donations can be dropped off at those locations through July 31.

The public can again support local needy students by ou can once again support local needy students this summer by stopping in and dropping an item or two into one of the collection bins. Trail closure Dates For Annual Deer Hunt Coming Up at Lord Stirling EEC in Basking Ridge [Information Added]

BERNARDS TWP., NJ - The Somerset County Park Commission is warning hikers and others who use the trail system by the Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge that trails will be closed for an upcoming deer hunt.

The first date of the trail system closure will be on Wednesday, Jan. 25, according to the park commission.
