Pedestrian Struck by Car in Westfield Wednesday

WESTFIELD, NJ — UPDATED. A pedestrian was struck by a car at South Ave. and Boulevard in Westfield Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m. The man, a Westfield resident, was transported to University Hospital and discharged Wednesday evening.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, according to Captain Scott Rodger of the Westfield Police Department. The driver of the car, also male, is also a Westfield resident, he said.
