PISCATAWAY, NJ – Many county residents in need of food assistance throughout the pandemic have turned to the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS) for help, and now supplies are running low.
To help replenish the various food pantries it serves, Piscataway residents can make donations of non-perishable foods at MCFOODS’ Drive-by Food Drive on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 am-2 pm. in front of Lowe’s Home Improvement on Centennial Ave.
Co-sponsored by the Piscataway Police Department and other agencies, residents will be able to help those in need of food assistance without leaving their cars during the food drive.
Donations of such items as canned food, cereal, macaroni & cheese, stew, granola bars, rice, pasta, diapers and wipes, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other necessities will be accepted.
