Plain White T’s, the popular American pop punk band from Chicago, will bring their talent to Revel in Atlantic City for a performance at The Social on Friday, July 26th. Showtime is 8 p.m.
Plain White T's have sold over 9.1 million songs starting with their album Every Second Counts which spawned three hits: the platinum plus "Our Time Now," the gold selling "Hate (I Really Don't Like You)" and "Hey There Delilah," the mega-hit single which rocketed to Number 1 in 13 countries. Delilah was the fourth song in history to sell over 3 million digital downloads which earned the Chicago quintet two Grammy nominations as well as numerous other recognitions.
The band followed up with Big Bad World -- a return-to-form effort featuring the band's usual mix of spunky energy and pop/rock craft. The band again found platinum success with yet another love song, "1,2,3,4," which is approaching double platinum status. Plain White T's are currently in the studio recording their sixth studio album due out this year.

Harrah’s Philadelphia announced that at 10:45 pm on Sunday, June 16th its Total Bad Beat Jackpot of $308,802 hit at one of its Texas Hold‘em Poker 1-2 No-Limit tables. In addition to the two main poker players embroiled in the hand, seven other players received a payout of $11,028 simply for sitting at the table at the time of the hit.
“Twenty-thirteen has been a very generous year for Harrah’s Philadelphia poker room players, to date we have paid over 1.2 million in Bad Beat Jackpots and we’re only six months into the year,” said Ron Baumann, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Philadelphia. “Harrah’s Philadelphia would like to congratulate all the players stationed at the poker table at the time of the hit on Sunday, as well as all the players that benefitted from our two other additional 2013 Bad Beat Jackpot hits.”
Sokhen Pin, of Chester, PA, thought he had the winning hand when he laid out his Ten High Straight Flush, only to experience a bad beat when opponent Anthony Cuffari flashed his Queen High Straight Flush and secured the win. The losing hand earned Pin $154,401 while Cuffari of Philadelphia, PA, added $77,200 to his wallet. The Total Bad Beat Jackpot currently sits at $228,089.
The Bad Beat Jackpot is a prize that is paid when a sufficiently strong hand is shown down and loses to an even stronger hand held by another player. The Bad Beat Jackpot is progressive, with $1.00 taken out of each pot to fund the jackpot (in addition to the regular rake). When a jackpot is won, it will be split among all players sitting at a Bad Beat eligible table and in all of the Caesars Total Reward Poker rooms in Atlantic City at the time of the bad beat with the losing hand getting the largest share. On the heels of this Total Bad Beat Jackpot win, Caesars Entertainment immediately administered the reset jackpot at $100,000.
Payouts of the Total Bad Beat Jackpot are as follows:
50% to the losing hand
25% to the winning hand
25% to the seated players at the table
The minimum losing had for us is quad 10’s
The minimum losing Bad Beat Hand will start at four (4) queens and each week, on Wednesday, the required hand will be lowered by one (1) four of a kind ranking hand until the required hand is four (4) deuces. When the jackpot is hit the required hand will revert back to four (4) queens and reset the next Wednesday. Example: if the jackpot is hit on a Monday the 4 Queens would only be in effect for 2 days.
