FANWOOD, NJ - The PNC Bank on South Martine Avenue in the borough was robbed Saturday at 11:18 a.m.
According to Police Chief Richard Trigo, a 5-foot-7 white male between 30 and 35 years of age with a stocky build of about 200 pounds presented his demands to the teller.
According to police, no weapon was presented, and it was not indicated how much money the suspect stole. The suspect had brown hair, sideburns and a brown beard. He was reported to be wearing a black shirt, black pants, a red and orange baseball cap and a blue scarf.
There were no injuries. Fanwood police and the FBI are investigating the incident.
