PATERSON, NJ - Tremaine Adams, 33, of Godwin Avenue has been charged with the murder of Ismail Walker and weapons offenses. Adams turned himself to detectives Friday morning. Bail has been set at $1.25 milliion.
According to Capt. Heriberto Rodriguez, detectives responsible for the successful closure of this case are Paterson Police Detectives Det. Sgt. Dean Barone, Det. Ralph Fermin, Det. Aramis Alba, Det. Kelvin Matos and Passaic County Prosecutors’ Detective Chris Drelich.
Walker, 24, of Paterson, was in the area of 10th Avenue and E. 28th Street on the afternoon of April 15. He was shot with a handgun multiple times. He was transported to the hospital for emergency care but was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
