ROXBURY, NJ - (Editor's Note: Police now say the woman was found and the wallet was recovered) Roxbury police are seeking information relating to the theft of a wallet that was accidentally left at a Succasunna garage sale on Saturday.

Police said the incident happened at a house on Sunnyview Drive at about 11:30 a.m. They said a woman visiting the garage sale "mistakenly set her wallet down and minutes later when she returned it was gone."

In a Facebook post, the police department released what appear to be security camera photos of a woman suspected of grabbing the misplaced wallet. The woman, who came to the sale in a white SUV that appears to be a Jeep Patriot, didn't do the right thing after finding the wallet; instead of telling the homeowner about her discovery, the woman "left the scene," police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the matter to email Roxbury Police Patrolman David Togno at dtogno@roxburypd.com. They are also asking people to refrain from putting online "any information pertaining to the woman" pictured as the suspect.
