PATERSON, NJ - An 18-year-old Paterson man was struck by gunfire in the early hours of Sunday, according to law enforcement officials.
The incident comes just more than 24 hours after a Bronx, NY man was shot and killed while driving his car on East 31st Street between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue.
In a statement Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announced that members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. on a report of a shooting victim.
Upon arrival police found the victim with a non-fatal gunshot wound but have not yet located a crime scene.
