EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — After two and a half weeks in which no practices could take place, the resumption of preparation for all East Brunswick High School outdoor fall sports began this week.

The NJSIAA pushed back by nearly a month the start of the fall sports seasons, and also curtailed those seasons from the normal length of a fall season, because of COVID-19 and the adjustments that state schools are making as they operate under varying teaching models in 2020.

Two indoor sports normally contested in the fall, gymnastics and girls volleyball, have been tabled until late next winter.

According to Athletic director Christopher Yannazzo, plans for audience attendance and ticket sales have not yet been finalized due to the desire to comply with restrictions resulting from the pandemic guidelines.  TAPinto East Brunswick will publish that information when it becomes available.
