Pre-Passover Wine Tasting with Expert Sommelier

In preparation for Passover, on Sunday, March 30 at 7:00 pm., Chabad of Union County will host a Kosher wine tasting with Jay Buchsbaum of Royal Wine Corporation, the worlds's largest producer and purveyor of kosher wines.

Jay Buchsbaum, executive sommelier, is the foremost expert on Kosher Wines for over 25 years. Jay has traversed the globe, searching for unique wines. Jay is regarded not only as an expert, but as an engaging and popular presenter. Jay's topics range from "proper pairings" to "perfect pouring," "the History of Wine in Jewish Life," and "How to become an expert wine taster in one easy lesson." 

With a wide selection from Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, to Teal Lake Shiraz from Australia, everyone in attendance will find a wine to grace their Passover table.

Wine is to Passover what turkey is to Thanksgiving and this is the chance to get up to speed on all the great varieties.

The wine tasting is open to the general public. Wines are available for sale with a portion of the sales going to benefit the Chabad center.
