WARREN, NJ - This year the Primrose School of Warren celebrated its 7th annual Trunk or Treat on Wed. Oct 30  This year, police closed off parts of the street to accommodate the 250+ participants.  The school had over 15 cars decorated to the delight of the kids. The event started with a school wide parade lead by primrose students which officially kicked off the event. In addition to the sweet treats, the school also had a music,  best trunk contest (which was awarded a wine basket) and several awards for a variety of costumes.

For those unfamiliar with it, Decorators go and bring their cars in the school’s parking lot. The families than decorate their cars for Halloween, sometimes creating elaborate scenes out of their trunks. Then kids walk from vehicle to vehicle, collecting candy the way they would during a normal trick-or-treating outing.

"I love trunk-or-treat because we get to have fun decorating my car, it's a safe place for my kids to trick-or-treat, and I get to hang out with friends and family," says LS (Primrose Parent).
