Ever want to know more about substance abuse and what is going on in your community? Join others as they learn about the latest drug trends as well as signs and symptoms of drug abuse. Sussex County is not unique, but, certain geographical areas tend to have different drug trends specific to those regions. What’s happening in our county? Tina Thompson, CHES, of Center for Prevention and Counseling will provide participants at the March Lunch ‘n Learn with this pertinent information that could help make a difference in preventing drug abuse in your family, community and throughout Sussex County. March is Inhalant Awareness Month. Did you know that more than 1,000 common products have the potential to be abused? Find out more information about the dangers of inhalants and other drug trends at the upcoming Lunch ‘n Learn on March 15 from 12-1 at Center for Prevention and Counseling’s 61 Spring Street 2rd Floor Classroom. Coffee and light refreshments will be served at this FREE workshop where you are also welcome to bring your own lunch. Professional development credits will be issued at this community workshop funded by the County of Sussex.
