SUMMIT, NJ - The Project SEARCH program at Overlook Medical Center which, since launching in 2016, has seen 15 out of 18 interns securing competitive employment in the community, will be hosting an open house event for prospective students and families on December 12, from 7 - 8:30 p.m, at the hospital.

Attendees wil learn more about one of New Jersey’s most innovative job skills training programs for transition-age youth with disabilities. The program is seeking nine new interns for the 2019-20 school year from the greater Union, Morris, Essex, and Middlesex County areas.

Eligible students should be 18-21 years old with a developmental or intellectual disability (inclusive of Autism Spectrum Disorders). In order to apply, students must have the support of their local school district.
