Property Brothers Make Appearance at Cost Plus World Market Opening

July 15, 2014 at 6:55 AM

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Cost Plus World Market opened in Livingston July 12 with an appearance by Jonathan and Drew Scott, hosts of HGTV’s “Property Brothers” from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The first 200 shoppers who brought five non-perishable food items to donate to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey got to meet them and received a signed photo. Although the store officially opened July 10, the weekend served as the grand opening celebration.

The line to meet the brothers was out the door, and West Orange resident Erica Caloia said, “I am so excited to meet them. My husband and I are looking to buy a home and we are hoping that we’ll be the perfect candidates for their show.” Caloia added, “The store is awesome.”

Jill Osaka, public relations manager for the location said, “We are thrilled to be opening our first store in the Northeast and we’re very excited to be a part of the Livingston community.”

Cost Plus World Market contains merchandise sections such as Bath & Candles, Rug Gallery, Entertaining and Home Décor. It is located at 530 West Mt. Pleasant Ave. and is open daily. For more information on the store, visit www.worldmarket.com or click HERE.

Step Right Up

Let’s make America the Greatest Show on Earth Again.

I was very sad to learn that after 146 years of big-top entertainment the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is folding its tent and leaving town.

This comes a year after the circus, due to mounting pressures from animal rights activists, got rid of the elephants.

It is not really ...
