MONTCLAIR, NJ – Prudential New Jersey Properties has rebranded as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate Brokerage Network. This transition was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the grand opening of its new Montclair Office on Monday.
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services is a real estate brokerage network that has over 29,000 agents and 825 offices in 42 states.
“We are pleased to make this transition to the brand we believe is reinventing real estate,” said Bill Keleher, the brokerage chairman and chief executive officer. “Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is about innovation, outstanding service and unparalleled results.”
The Montclair office of Berkshire Hathaway is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The facility is complete with couches, a power bar for multiple laptop hookups, and private conference rooms within a contemporary office space.
General Manager, Chris Brown stated, “We hope to be able to open the space up to the community to host events and bring people back into the office.” “This office is a footprint that is a new model for real estate. We have high tech offices with a power bar and a mediascape lounge,” he continued. Mediascape is an interactive technology built into media tables. Users are able to use videoconferencing technology that allows for hosting of thirdparty satellite users.
“We do most of our business outside of the office. This layout allows enough space for us to be able to conference with clients and have the technological resources we need to be effective,” Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices realtor Diane Meyer said. “There is more visibility with the location of the new office.”
Karen Oniel, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeSolutions said, “More of our transactions take place online. It is great to be able to have the latest technology to enhance the customer’s experience.”
“We are in a great location near Whole Foods and the Montclair Art Museum,” said Brown.
