Public Hearing On Comcast's Renewal Of Cable Contract To Be Held On July 9

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Town Council of East Brunswick will hold a public hearing on Comcast's application for renewal of municipal consent to construct and operate a cable TV system in East Brunswick. The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9th at 7:00pm in the Senior Center, 1 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick. The application is available for public examination at the East Brunswick Municipal Clerk's Office, 1 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive, between the hours of 9am-4pm. A public hearing will serve the following purposes:
* to create a record of the cable operator's compliance with the current franchise agreement;
* to document the community's evaluation of the quality of service that the cable operator has provided;
* to directly ask the community what its cable-related needs are.

This will be the public's opportunity to comment and participate in the Township's franchise renewal with Comcast. All residents of East Brunswick are strongly urged to attend and participate.
