ROSELAND, NJ - Pulse Academy is coming to Roseland in the fall 2014. The Academy offers soccer programs for kids from ages 5-8, and is open to both boys and girls.
Pulse Academy was founded in 2013 and is currently operating in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. It employs NSCAA, USSF and FA qualified soccer coaches in order to best utilize the same training techniques used to hone the skills of professional athletes. Training sessions will be divided into 30 minutes practice, followed by 3v3 or 4v4 scrimmages.
The Academy offers young children the same opportunity that professional athletes have had to perfect their game. “The likes of Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar have been practicing moves and turns since childhood, both in practice and in games," said Program Director Dave Francis. We want to give young players the same opportunities to perform these moves in a game without the external pressure of making a mistake.”
The Pulse Academy's, "small-sided game" approach lends to the building of student's "confidence to perform at a higher level, whether that is travel, academy, high school, college or even pro-soccer.”
Francis said it is this type of training that will enable US players to match the world's finest players for skill and technique, as well as the heart and determination demonstrated by the US Men's National Team in this summer's tournament.
