Wayne, Radnor Township, PA — Three men wearing masks and gloves entered the Wawa store at 151 Sugartown Rd. around 3 AM Monday morning and announced a gunpoint robbery. The men were observed on video camera approaching the store while on foot.
Police while announcing the crime, announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the three men.
The three suspects each wore dark-colored hooded sweatshirts with the hood section drawn tightly around their faces. The bandits further hid their identities using masks to cover their faces and gloves on their hands.
“The store’s employees were ordered to the back of the store where one of the suspects demanded the store safe’s key from the Wawa manager.” the police video shows. The employees, after being rounded up, had their belongings taken and they were then ushered into a storeroom to await help from the police.
This is the same Wawa store where Stephanie Miller was executed on March 28, 2019. Miller’s ex-husband, Brian Kennedy has been charged with that crime, and he is in prison awaiting trial.
According to the police, the store safe, and each cash registers had an undetermined amount of cash taken.
The suspects left the store foot, which again was captured on security video, and were last seen running east on Morris Road.
The police had a “be on the lookout” (BOLO) issued with all of the regional 911 centers.
