Raiders Rout Roselle in UCT Girls Basketball Preliminary

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ - The Scotch Plains-Fanwood girls' basketball team made it through the preliminary round of the Union County Tournament with ease.

Katie Harper scored 27 points and came away with nine rebounds and seven steals to help the Raiders to a 72-32 victory over Roselle on Friday.

Kara Foley contributed 18 points and 21 rebounds and Thabitha Dwunfour grabbed 11 rebounds to go with six points in the victory. Amani Williams chipped in with an all-around effort that included 10 points, eight rebounds and a game-high six assists for SPF (8-14). Caroline Babis handed out five assists and made six steals, and Paige Heiden scored nine points.
