RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph community is invited to a Board of Education Candidate forum on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Randolph High School Library.
The evening will be co-hosted by the Randolph PTO Council with the Morris County League of Women Voters , whom are providing the moderator for the evening.
The public is invited to come out and learn more about the five candidates who are seeking three seats on the Board of Education. The evening will consist of candidate statements and a question and answer period with the audience.
Township residents will have the opportunity to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6. The five candidates are: (in alphabetical order) Ron Hadley, Allison Manfred, Eliza Schleifstein, Robert Soni (incumbent), and Anne Standridge (incumbent).
Stacy White has pulled her name from the ballad due to a lack of time to continue to serve on the board. She will finish out her term in December.
White expressed , "Because of my current family and work obligations, I simple do not have the time needed to carry out the responsibilities of the position, which requires a huge time commitment. As a community, we are very fortunate to have such dedicated and qualified people willing to step into this demanding role."
