RANDOLPH, NJ- First year head coach Matt Tighe is really getting his RHS boys basketball team into a groove these days, and the wins are starting to add up. The Rams continued their hot streak on Thursday Jan. 23, securing their third "W" in a row, and fourth in their last five games, with a 75-62 win over Parsippany Hills.
The win saw Tighe use everything and everyone at his disposal, with twelve players in total contributing and showing up on the stat sheet. They were led by Michael Talbert with 19 points, 7 steals and 5 assists. Patrick Archer poured in 16 points, 5 blocks and 5 rebounds, and Greg Moserowitz put up 14 points for the Rams.
The victory over Hills followed a road win on Monday Jan. 20 at Livingston, in which the Rams were strong early and built a huge 37-16 halftime lead. They successfully withstood a furious Livingston rally to hold on and win 54-48. Michael Talbert again led the way with 10 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds, followed by Aldan Naravane's 10 points and Barry Lynch's 7 points and 5 rebounds.
The Rams next game is Jan. 28 against West Morris.
