RANDOLPH, NJ- Where has the summer gone? With all the back-to-school shopping and preparations, did you remember to register your child for before and/or afterschool care? If not, Randolph Community School is registering Randolph District K-5th grade students for KinderKids, EarlyBirds and Afterschool (ASK). Like all of our programs, we're not about babysitting. We offer age-appropriate enrichment activities and lots of exercise both in the gym and outdoors. Snack and homework time are also a part of the daily schedule rounded out with a good dose of socialization.
There is an EarlyBirds and ASK program at each Randolph elementary school. KinderKids is a program for our half-day Kindergarten students. Housed in the beautiful child development center at the YMCA, 14 Dover-Chester Road, our Kindergarten students come together from all four elementary schools to make new friends and develop relationships that go beyond the school day.
Our professional, caring staff offers a safe, nurturing environment while providing thought-provoking, fun and enriching activities. All staff members are required to undergo a background check, fingerprinting and approval by the Randolph Board of Education. Several of our staff members have been with us for ten or more years which fosters a strong relationship with the students who return to our program year after year.
The EarlyBirds and AM KinderKids programs operate from 7:00 AM until the start of the school day. PM KinderKids and ASK begin at school dismissal and close at 6:00 PM. Do you need coverage for school holidays? Randolph schools are closed on September 25th and 26th for Rosh Hashanah plus several other dates during the school year. Do you have childcare coverage when school is not in session? If not, we can help with that too! We operate our “Holiday Fun” program from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on many school holidays with fun trips, presentations and theme-based activities.
Our parent handbook/registration packet can be found in your child’s school office, at the Board of Education Office or on the RSAC (Randolph School-Age Care) page under the Community School quick link at www.rtnj.org. While you’re on our site, check out all of the Community School programs. Our art enrichment, golf and yoga classes for children are starting soon, as well as our SAT Review Course (open to non-Randolph residents too). All year long our reasonably priced, state-licensed driving school offers students their 6 hour behind-the-wheel training. The certified driving instructors have many years of experience behind the wheel and in the classroom. If you have questions regarding the Randolph School District’s Community School programs, we’ll be happy to help. Contact us at 973-361-0808, x8603 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
